Leeds legends Wind-Up Birds commissioned a music video for the lead single of their new EP “pop.thinking” with a short and sweet brief: Netflix documentary.
So we got to work, taking all the tropes and elements that populate Netflix true-crime docs and weaved an absurd narrative decidedly unbefitting of the serious production style. The results are a funny and satirical take on the over-abundance of true crime media that saturates our screens.
